This program will give youth an opportunity to participate in weekly skills-training classes, on-site barista training, and job internships with local businesses. The support and encouragement they’ll receive during their internship will give them confidence and prepare them for the workplace.

After the completion of the internship there will be an invite only Leadership In Training group for the members who show the most determination and will be part of a process that's responsible for helping outline and coordinate the internship!
Services offered include: 8 week program Internship training dates are Fridays 4-6pm Saturdays 11am-1pm or a 2 hour commitment to Saturday or Sunday (10am-2pm) 25-hour job internships (minimum age 16 years) 4 hours per week - training held on Friday & Saturday Barista Job-site mentoring the art of coffee making Professional references upon completion of the internship Resume development Stipend upon successful completion of the program This will count for school volunteer requirements Job placement assistance
Requirements: High School/College 16-25 years old. Jr internship 10-15 years old Be committed to serving your community. Be committed to Racial equality. Have a passion for social justice.
Barista Interns will learn the basics of drink making including pulling shots, steaming milk, and barista bar operations. Interns will leave the program with knowledge to secure a entry level Barista job.
Social Justice interns will learn how to organize protests, learn your rights, and gain connections with people who work in Social Justice.
